AITUC rally in city turns violent, traffic thrown out of gear

The rally’s objective was to oppose the move to privatise the State-owned transport, KSRTC. And they did it in style. Cost to the KSRTC=30 Lakh rupees in a single day. The Left goons had planned everything well. Rather than restricting the “protest” to a single area, they spread out their tentacles of violence across such varied locations as Hebbal to the North and Bannerghatta Road to the south. They certainly didn’t neglect the interiors.
