PUNE: With the MHT-CET 2009 results due for June 14, the state directorate of technical education has set the ball rolling for the smooth conduct
of multiple-round centralised admission process (CAP) for the first-year engineering degree courses in the state.
13 engineering colleges for online Admission form receipt centres' (ARCs) in pune and Another seven ARCs will be located in Satara, Solapur and Kolhapur district, which fall under the DTE's Pune region.
Pune city has over 40 engineering colleges and more are expected to join by the end of June when the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
The 13 ARCs in the city are: AlSSMS College of Engineering (CoE),
Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT),
D Y Patil Institute of Engineering Technology,
PES' Modern CoE, Maharashtra Instittute of Technology,
Vishwakarma Institute of Technology,
Sinhgad CoE,
Maharashtra Academy of Engineering,
Pune Vidyarthi Griha CoE,
JSPM CoE at Hadapsar,
Rajarshi Shahu CoE,
G H Raisoni CoE at Wagholi and
Pimpri Chinchwad CoE.
