The AP Public Service Commission (APPSC) will fill up 1,100 junior lecturer (JL) posts in the next few months,
sale of applications would begin on December 12 and the last date for submission of application would be December 30. Applications would be made available all the major post office across the state.
He said the service commission would also fill up about 200 vacancies of polytechnic lecturers posts very soon. "We are planning to introduce online receipt of applications for the polytechnic posts," he said.
Bhadraiah said the results of Group II examinations would be declared after December 15. About two lakh candidates appeared for the Group II examinations conducted by the APPSC.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission came into existence with the formation of the State of Andhra Pradesh on November 1, 1956 merging Andhra Public Service Commission functioning in the Andhra State and the Hyderabad Public Service Commission functioning in Hyderabad State. The Andhra Service Commission itself came into existence on October 1, 1953 after the bifurcation of the composite Madras State into Andhra and Madras States.
A.P.P.S.C. was started with two different traditions and working procedures inherited from the Andhra Public Service Commission and the Hyderabad Public Service Commission.
