Final and Common Proficiency Test held in May/June, 2008 desirous of knowing their results with marks on SMS. The service will be available through MTNL, India Times and Reliance.
For getting results through the message students should type:
i) for Final examination result the following
CAFNL(space)XXXXX (Where XXXXX is the five digit Final examination roll number of the candidate)
e.g. CAFNL 00028
ii) for Common Proficiency Test result the following
CACPT(Space)XXXXX (where XXXXX is the five digit Common Proficiency Test roll number of the candidate)
e.g. CACPT 00171
and send the message to:
52001 - for DOLPHIN AND TRUMP users only
58888 - for all mobile services - India Times
51234]
for Reliance subscribers (Also accessible through R-World and Voice Portal – To call 51234815 from Reliance Mobiles)

cpt result can be seen from www.icai.org, but the site seems too busy, I have seen cached site, not able to see cpt results, search ca results from official site

On 1st July, 2008, the Indian Chartered Accountancy Profession would enter its 60th year of existence and coinciding with this occasion, the period 1st July, 2008 till 1st July, 2009 will be celebrated for the Diamond Jubilee Year celebrations. 1st July is the day which has a special mile stone for the profession with the Chartered Accountants Act having been brought into being by the Parliament of India in 1949. Every 1st July, the ICAI holds many events nationally to ponder and introspect the way the profession should be responding to the challenging times.
