Last two consecutive crowns of miss universe were taken by Venezuela, hoping for the third crown by Gibson. Marelisa Gibson will represent Venezuela in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant, in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA), in August 23, where she will try to win a third consecutive crown for her country.
