A/L 2008 examination change of results in Sri Lanka.
GCE Advanced Level exam 2008 results releasing in two sets which differed from each other, caused confusion to thousands of students in Sri Lanka. Mismanagement and confusion in the Department had put the lanka students into a mess.

"The results of the Advanced Level 2008 exam were released on January 3, 2009. Then there was another results sheet issued on June 29, 2009 declaring the previous one null and void and ordering the principals to return the previous sheet to the Department of Examination. The second set of results came after the re-scrutinization of the results. As we know the re-scrutinization could change the results of a single or few candidates but it cannot lead to a drastic change in an entire district or at national level. But the June 29, results had failed the top 10 scorers in some districts.
