Jason Richardson Was Traded From Charlotte to Phoenix
Anthony Jason Richardson is an American professional basketball player currently playing shooting guard for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association. He previously played for the Golden State Warriors, from whom he was traded on June 28, 2007 after six years with the team. After a season with the Bobcats, he was traded from Charlotte to Phoenix on December 10, 2008.

On December 10, 2008, Richardson was traded along with Jared Dudley, and a 2010 second round pick to the Phoenix Suns for Boris Diaw , Raja Bell and Sean Singletary.

Richardson has hit 45.8 percent of his 3-pointers this season and is a good rebounder for a guard, pulling down 4.1 on average this season. The former 2001 No.5 draft pick was moved to Charlotte in a financially driven trade in 2005 but is best known for being the mature captain of the Warriors, who broke a 13-year playoff drought in his final season there.
