Department of Public Enterprises released latest notice about DPE pay Revision on 2nd April 2009. About 4 lakh officers of central public sector enterprises will benefit from a government decision on further increase in DPE pay scales.
DPE Revision of scales of pay w.e.f 01.01.2007 for Board level and below Board level executivesand Non Unionised Supervisors in the Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs)- Report of the Committee of Ministers thereon.
As per dpe guidelines Benefits of the improved pay packages will also include increase in house rent allowance and retirement benefits, but there is no change in HRA (House rent allowance.)
Effective date of revised pay scale would be 26-11-2008 being the date of first O.M. by DPE pay revision.

Bangladesh clearly serves as an important sanctuary for Irrawaddy dolphins, and conservation in this region should be a top priority.

Wildlife Conservation Society and Chittagong University in Bangladesh estimate that the region is home to 6,000 of the dolphins, by far the largest known population.
