National Informatics Centre ( NIC ) has invited applications for the post of Scientific Officer / Engineer - SB (Programmer). There are 265 vacancies in total. The candidates should have good academic record. The eligibility criteria includes B.E./ B. Tech / M.C.A. with 60% or M. Sc. in Computer Science or Master's degree in Physics / Maths / Statistics / Operation Research with 60% marks.

Eligible candidates have to appear for Written Examination to be held on February 22, 2009 followed by Personal Interview starting from April 09, 2009. The complete information can be obtained from the website of NIC recruitment.nic.in .

Well What is the Galactic Alignment in 2012? Here is definition form Wikipedia, Galactic Alignment; One common galactic alignment refers to an alignment between the December solstice sun with the equator of our galaxy, the Milky Way.
